I love science fiction, and there are some really excellent women writing in this field–soooo different from back when I was a wee lass. Lois McMaster Bujold, while a fine fantasy writer, has a marvelous SF series, the Vorkorsigan books, which follow the carreer of Miles Vorkorsigan, one of the most interesting characters I have ever read. I would be interested to see if a male reader found his depiction authentic.
